Who operates this site
Daniel Goldman operates danielthegoldman.com and is responsible for the personal information described here. Privacy requests can be sent to contact@danielthegoldman.com.
Information collected
- Guide access: the email address you submit, the guide and language, and validated campaign, CTA, content, and opaque delivery attribution when present.
- Optional newsletter signup: your email address, the exact consent version and time, and first and latest guide, campaign, and CTA properties.
- Optional analytics: page path, referrer path, browser and device information, online identifiers created by PostHog, and guide funnel events. URL query strings are not sent in pageview URLs.
- Contact form: the details you type are used in your browser to prepare a WhatsApp message. They are transferred to WhatsApp and Meta only after you choose to open and send that message.
Choices and consequences
- An email address is required only when you choose to unlock the full guide. It is not added to the newsletter unless you separately check the optional newsletter box.
- Analytics is optional and stays off until you select “Allow analytics.” The site and guides remain usable when you choose only necessary storage.
- You can change the analytics choice at any time through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
Purposes and service providers
Information is used to deliver guide access, maintain one-browser access, send requested newsletter updates, understand content performance, prevent operational errors, and respond to inquiries.
- Vercel hosts and serves the website.
- PostHog EU Cloud processes optional analytics events after consent.
- Resend stores contacts only after optional newsletter consent.
- WhatsApp and Meta process a contact message after you choose to send it.
Retention and security
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for guide delivery, newsletter records, reporting, security, and legal obligations. Different providers may retain operational logs on their own schedules.
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used, including restricted server credentials, validation of attribution fields, security headers, and avoiding email addresses or raw Instagram identifiers in analytics events. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Access, correction, deletion, and unsubscribe
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information by emailing contact@danielthegoldman.com. Newsletter messages must provide a simple unsubscribe method. Unsubscribing does not remove browser guide access.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the site, providers, or legal requirements change. The review date on this page will be updated when material changes are published.
